ABSTRACT
Densities (ρ) of copper sulphate in water and in binary aqueous mixtures of L-Valine for different molar concentration (0.05mol kg-1 & 0.1mol kg-1) have been measured at different temperatures (305K, 315K, 325K and 335K). These data have been used to calculate apparent molar volume (fv),
limiting apparent molar volume (f °), slopes (S ) and partial molar volumes of transfer (𝑉° ). The

data have been analysed using the Masson equation. Graphical plot of apparent molar volumes( fv ) verus √c at different temperatures gave the values of limiting apparent molar volume (f °), slopes and these results were utilised for the calculation of partial molar volume of transfer (𝑉° .The negative or positive values of obtained parameters have been used to discuss in terms of ion-ion and ion–solvent interactions occurring in solutions. The trends of transfer volumes have been interpreted in terms of solute-co solute interactions on the basis of a co-sphere overlap model. The negative partial molar volumes of transfer (𝑉° ) values in L-Valine solutions indicate hydrophobic-hydrophobic and ionic-hydrophobic interaction is more pronounced in L-Valine system
