Short Profile Mohammad Abul Farah, Ph.D., serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology at King Saud University, Riyadh. Dr. Farah attended Aligarh Muslim University in India where he received his Ph.D. in Zoology (Genetics). He worked as a Research Scientist at Proteonik Inc., a biotechnology company in Seoul, South Korea. He also served as Research Professor at RCPM, Chosun University, Gwangju, South Korea. With over 15 years of experience in academics and research, he has worked extensively on cytogenetics, genotoxicity, diabetes research focusing on the process of insulin signaling. At KSU, he is involved in research on natural products and biosynthesized nanoparticles for the development of anticancer drugs. He obtained expertise in the field of molecular biology, genomics, and computer based drug design and drug development.
Dr. Farah is an astute professional with experience in process optimization & biochemical lab practices. Proficient in analysing and interpreting research results and technical data. Adroit at identifying potential in the design phase of the project, troubleshoot and solve problems associated with the process. Proven track record of participating in various research projects with real-time experience in planning, execution, application of methodologies, documentation and presentation of findings. Detail oriented with an analytical bent of mind and a positive attitude.
